Jiu Jitsu classes for all ages.

1-5 years: The Jitsy Tots and Jitsy Pre School programs are a great way for young children to develop their motor skills, coordination and confidence in a fun, nurturing, and safe environment. These classes are designed to engage and challenge children with games, music and movement, obstacle courses, and play, while incorporating the basics of jiu jitsu movement.

5-8 years:  Designed to introduce children to the martial art of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in a fun and safe environment, these classes teach the fundamental techniques and values associated with the sport. Classes are designed to be engaging and fun with a focus on play based learning. Children will learn about respect, teamwork, self defense in an environment where they can grow at their own pace.  Mixed male and female class.

9-15 years:  Tweens and teens will develop their motor skills, coordination, and confidence in a fun and safe environment. Our classes teach them how to defend themselves against larger and stronger opponents using leverage and technique. BJJ requires focus, discipline, and perseverance, which can help reduce stress and anxiety and improve overall mental health. Mixed male and female class, with careful consideration of training pairings by the instructor.

16+ Adults: Our adult Jiu Jitsu classes are designed to be fun and engaging. We offer a supportive environment where you can learn and grow at your own pace. Whether you want to advance through the rankings to black belt or train just for fun, we have something for everyone. We also offer competition training for those who want to take their skills to the next level.

Ladies only training:  Some women may feel uncomfortable training in a co-ed environment. Ladies only training classes are designed to be safe, supportive, and empowering. Many of our women participants go on to join the open classes but the choice is yours. Teenage girls are welcome to train with the ladies in this class.  If it's not on the schedule get in touch, it comes and goes with demand and we are always happy to bring it back.

Open Mats:  A designated time for students to use the mats as they like. It is a gathering where students of all skill levels and affiliations are welcome to come in and train in an unstructured manor. During open mat, students can roll (spar), drill moves and practice new things they’ve been working on. Open mat is a great opportunity to gain extra training time on a more social level.
